Bats Have a Lot in Common with Humans

1. Bats are not blind. Indeed, most of them see very well.
2. We share a similar skeletal structure. In fact, a bat’s wings are actually its hands!
3. Bats are mammals and give birth to live babies just like we do!
4. Bats are known to adopt orphan babies – something that’s unheard of in the wild!
5. Baby bats babble, just like human babies do!
6. Some species of bats are monogamous and stay with the same partner.
7. Bats take care of their young and live surrounded by family and friends.
